Quick troubleshooting

The wallpaper isn’t updating

Click the ▣ menu bar icon → Refresh now. If you see an error, double-check that your board is set to Public on Pinterest. If it stays stuck, restart VisionWall (Quit, then reopen).

How do I uninstall?

First free up your license seat: menu bar icon → Settings… → License → Deactivate this Mac. Then quit VisionWall and drag VisionWall.app to the Trash. To remove all local data too, delete the folder ~/Library/Application Support/VisionWall/ and run `defaults delete studio.soma.visionwall` in Terminal.

I get a 'Board not found' error

This means the board isn’t publicly readable. Open Pinterest → your board → Edit → set Privacy to Public. You can flip it back anytime: the wallpaper already on screen stays put, because it is composed from images already downloaded to your Mac, and later refreshes simply stop finding new pins.

Install guide

  1. 1Buy your license. Your download link and license key arrive by email immediately.
  2. 2Unzip VisionWall.zip and drag VisionWall.app into your Applications folder, then open it. The app is notarized by Apple, so it opens without security warnings.
  3. 3Paste your license key in the activation window and click Activate.
  4. 4Paste any public Pinterest board URL and click Set my wallpaper. Done, your board is now your desktop.

Change the board, layout, or refresh interval anytime: click the ▣ icon in your menu bar → Settings.

Lost your license key?

Your key is in the purchase confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). Can’t find it? Email [email protected] from the address you bought with and we’ll resend it.

How many Macs can I use?

One license activates up to 3 Macs. Moving to a new machine? On the old one, open Settings → License → Deactivate this Mac to free the slot, then activate on the new Mac with the same key.

Activation says the key is invalid

Check for stray spaces before or after the key, and make sure you’re pasting the full key from the email. If it still fails, you may have used all 3 activation slots, email us and we’ll sort it out.
