From email to wallpaper in two minutes.

Everything that happens after you click Buy, with what you will see on screen. Nothing to configure, nothing to sign up for.

  1. Check your inbox

    Right after checkout, Lemon Squeezy emails you a download link and your license key. Same email, straight away. Keep it.

  2. Download and open

    Click the link, unzip VisionWall.zip and drag VisionWall.app into Applications. Open it. Apple has checked the app, so macOS opens it without a warning.

  3. Paste your key

    Paste the license key from the email and click Activate. One key covers up to 3 Macs.

  4. Paste a board

    Copy the address of any public Pinterest board, paste it in and click Set my wallpaper. The desktop builds itself.

  5. Tweak it, or don’t

    Click the icon in the menu bar for Settings: refresh timer, columns, corners, background. The defaults are good.

  6. Forget it exists

    It reshuffles every 30 minutes on its own. Wi-Fi drops, the wallpaper stays.

Your license

One key, up to 3 Macs, free 1.x updates. Moving to a new Mac? On the old one, open Settings, then License, then Deactivate this Mac, and paste the same key on the new one.

One key, one person. It is for your own Macs, not for passing around: every Mac that activates takes one of your 3 seats, so a key that goes round the group chat stops working for you. A friend who wants it needs their own, for $11.99.

If something looks off

Three things cover almost every email we get. Anything else, the support page has the rest, and Lucas answers the inbox himself.

“Board not found”

The board is not public. Open it on Pinterest, switch it to public and paste the address again. How to make a board public.

The wallpaper is not changing

Click the menu bar icon, then Refresh now. If it stays put, quit VisionWall and open it again.

The key says invalid

Check for a stray space before or after the key. If all 3 seats are in use, email Lucas and he frees one.

FAQ

Before you click Buy

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to sign up for. The license key from your email is the only thing VisionWall asks for, and it asks once.

Can I share my key with a friend?

No. A license is for one person and their own Macs, up to 3 at once. Every Mac that activates uses one of those 3 seats, so a shared key runs out fast and then stops working for you too. A friend who wants VisionWall needs their own key.

Can I use it on my second Mac?

Yes. One license activates up to 3 Macs at the same time. Paste the same key on each one. To free a seat later, open Settings, then License, then Deactivate this Mac on the Mac you are leaving.

I lost the email with the key

Search your inbox for Lemon Squeezy, the email comes from them, not from VisionWall. If it is gone, write to [email protected] from the address you bought with and Lucas resends it.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac on macOS 13.3 Ventura or later, Apple Silicon or Intel. The download is about 1.4 MB. Older versions of macOS cannot open it.

How do updates arrive?

Free for every 1.x version. VisionWall checks a small file on visionwall.io at most once a day, and there is a Check for updates item in the menu whenever you want to look yourself.
